Manager/Supervisor

We seek a talented and visionary Creative Manager to lead our creative team. The ideal candidate will oversee the team's creative production, from concept development to execution, ensuring that all marketing materials align with our clients' branding and objectives. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a strong creative foundation, and the ability to inspire and guide a team of graphic and web designers, email marketing strategists, and multimedia specialists.

Reports to: Director of Creative Operations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage the creative team of (7), providing direction, mentorship, and support to cultivate a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Track, maintain, and report on KPIs and department P&L; follow and meet the directors' expectations.
  • Construct and execute creative strategies that align with client goals and market trends, ensuring data-driven deliverables for paid advertising and lead generation, brand awareness and growth, email marketing, content marketing, customer retention, and more.
  • Collaborate cross-team with service managers, account managers, marketing strategists, and specialists to understand campaign objectives and successfully translate them into compelling creative solutions.
  • Enable the production of high-quality creative materials, including landing pages, digital ads, web designs, email campaigns and strategies, and other promotional collateral.
  • Run quality assurance on all creative output, ensuring it is brand-consistent, meets standards, and adheres to project timelines and allocated budgets.
  • Conduct regular reviews of the team's work, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate ongoing professional development for individual teammates.
  • Actively engage with updates in industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance campaigns' creativity and effectiveness. Prioritizes testing and experimentation.
  • Manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, aiming for the most efficient resource allocation and coordination.
Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of overall design or creative experience
    • A degree in Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plus.
  • 2+ years experience as a Creative Manager or in a similar leadership role, preferably within a digital marketing or creative agency.
    • Experience with managing remote teammates is a plus
  • Thoughtful portfolio showcasing a range of creative and marketing case studies
    • Portfolios that show projects you've led are a plus.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing creative talent
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex solutions clearly to internal teams and clients
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Webflow, Canva) and familiarity with digital marketing tools and techniques
    • Certifications are a plus.
  • Familiarity with work tools such as Google Sheets, Basecamp (or other project management tools), Slack, and Microsoft Suite is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions to optimize creative strategies.
